Avo Garde Show w/ DJ Takamichi and Shinpei - 2nd September 2023

"Avo-Garde Show hosted by DJ Takamichi. This time, we invited Shinpei(Sorameccer Sound Design, Mirage/JP). From Japan and based in Hanoi, Shinpei first got involved in the music scene as a guitarist and vocalist in a Rock/Punk band in his teens. In 2017, he started DJing in Hanoi and developed a taste for House, Techno and various musical genres and is a master of creating a ""story"" during his set. During his time in Vietnam, he has been a resident DJ at a few clubs and bars in both Saigon and Hanoi and helped co-found Digital Samurai in 2018 and also founded Sake Radio in 2020. Sake Radio mixes two of Shinpei's passions: Music & Sake. At Sake Radio, Shinpei blends beautifully the act of curating both the music and the sake for the night, often collaborating with local DJs. Currently, he is a resident DJ at Mirage, an indispensable venue in Hanoi's underground scene, and supports international DJs.. He is also a member of Sorameccer Sound Design, an emerging Japanese label offering a new sense of values. He pursues a unique sound that weaves together the two values of Japan and Vietnam.
