"SHANDON, a regular name in the Vietnamese music scene, presents us with his year-end podcast recorded at Hanoi's renowned club, Savage. This exclusive mix captures the energy and excitement of the last METRØ club night of the year, featuring special guests Jakrin and Payu, both notable figures in Bangkok's music scene. The duo, known for their involvement with their popular event series called Kangkao, perfectly complemented the atmosphere.

METRØ ventured into showcasing local Vietnamese talent this year, in an effort to highlight and expand their local music scene's horizons. Each month, METRØ introduced a new artist, fostering a sense of unity and collaboration within the community. As a closing of the circle, the invitation extended to the Bangkok crew, and the involvement of Bangkok Community Radio, solidifies the bond between these two vibrant music scenes."

METRØ is a Vietnam based party collective founded in 2019 with the primary focus of pushing the underground notion, showcasing top tier artists from the local scene and globally. The collective continues to gain notoriety for their musical direction and aesthetics.

In 2023 the collective aims to grow their identity among the local community, continuing to bring insight into the so called “minimal” digger DJ scene - not the genre but an approach to music pioneered by the likes of Nicolas Lutz, Villalobos, Zip and Onur Ozer. An exciting corner of dance music and vinyl culture showcasing stripped-down 90s house and techno that is both timeless and of the moment.

With an ever growing popularity the collective focuses on bringing a memorable sensory experience to the dancefloor.

"METRØ is a dynamic party collective that was founded in Vietnam in 2019. The collective's main objective is to promote underground music and showcase talented artists from both the local scene and beyond. Over time, METRØ has become renowned for its unique musical direction and distinctive aesthetics.

The METRØ series on BCR is focused on showcasing local talent to promote the sounds, scenes and setting of Vietnam.

For this episode the METRØ team has selected Kenno, whom was raised in Melbourne, Australia and takes influence from its prominent and diverse music culture. Currently Kenno is based in Vietnam where he continues to grow and venture into a wide variety of musical directions while maintaining his true personal style and flavor."

On this episode the METRØ crew have invited Anh Vy.

Anh Vy is one of the youngest DJs in Vietnam, a resident of Saigon clubbing mecca The Observatory, ¼ of Liên Hoan crew and the newest addition to the Atipik Collective. 

Praised for his musical versatility & flexibility as a DJ, Anh Vy has proven himself to be a promising piece of Vietnam’s evolving underground scene. 

His taste ranges from rare disco and tropical grooves to darker depths of acid, house and techno.

For this episode METRØ invites Lam Dao, one of the co-founders of Hanoi's newest club, Unmute. 

As the newest addition to the cities underground dance music scene located in the heart of the city, housed in a warehouse-style building within a 24-hour fruit and vegetable market, the venue consists of two distinct spaces, Cuốn Club Room and Tan Bar. 

Two well designed spaces with a rooftop showcasing 180-degree views of the city.

"In this episode; METRØ invites Vynni.

Vynni is a key player in the Saigon underground music scene. She holds a residency at 
The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh City. An infamous club, recognized for it's well curated lineups and notability in growing the underground music scene in Vietnam.
 
Vynni brings a unique sound to the dance floor where she is unwavering in exploring less frequented territories, allowing her to takes charge of a dance floor with an exciting alternative approach that is both adventurous and intriguing."

The METRØ Collective is excited to introduce Mishouju.

Mishouju (Homebp) -  Dj & producer from Belarus, co-founder of intercultural creative 
association & record label ""Homebp"", runner of
""Modern Music Production School by Homebp"" based in Poland and Vietnam.

He is also a part of ""Buddha Electronics"" duo known for strong Electro productions.

When not performing, he spends his time in the studio working on music,
curating ableton live lessons and digging.
