Over the years his records have featured next to huge names like Bicep, Dusky, and Ben Pearce on labels like Needwant, Crow Castle Cuts and Purp & Soul. "Tilted Connections this month welcomes Yard One. The collaborative guise of UK duo Jordan Bruce and Larry Jones, respectively based out of Den Haag, Netherlands and Manchester, UK.
The past decade has seen the pair unveil their material, which tends to lean towards deep, dubby, atmospheric House and Techno under the Yard One alias, while their pseudonym Tryst (UK) sees them exploring more textural ambient, downtempo and experimental electronica. Over the years their music has found a home on the likes of Mandar menaber Malin Genie's Vigenere imprint, Tokyo's Sound Of Vast, Yoyaku distributed imprint Yama Music, Philipp Priebe's Stólar, Cinthie's 803 Crystal Grooves, Spanish Techno label Diffuse Reality and of course their own Tact Recordings and its vinyl only sub-label Tactics.
Over the years the duo's music has been supported by many leading figures in the industry such as Cosmin TRG, Raresh, Efdemin, Cinthie, Dorian Paic, Barbara Preisinger, Ciel, Gonno and DJ Bone amongst others. They have also graced the decks at many leading nightclubs across the globe, from Berlin's infamous Griessmuehle to Barcelona's Les Enfants Terribles, Manchester's Soup Kitchen."

During their combined 25 years at their respective residencies, Daniel & Bobby have shared the decks with everyone from Villalobos, to Jeff Mills to Chez Damier as well as gigs every year at The Warehouse Project and Cocoon in the Park. Since collaborating a year ago and forming The Molecule, their first E.P is now ready for release, on Bobby's well regarded E-Numbers imprint.

Behind the DJ we call Sidd we find an actual music lover, someone who enjoys diving among vinyls and rarities, a dedicated digger. He runs his ‘Dacha Workshop’ store, a unique place in the center of Ibiza to find vinyl records and vintage clothing.

Since childhood he was attracted to electronic music, but unlike the people of his generation, he went deep into music coming from other decades and styles.

His eclectic sessions journey through the sound where breakbeat, house and techno are alive. He is able to touch the whole spectrum of the electronic music.

But his love for music is not limited to mixing it in front of the dance floor. He is an entrepreneur, creating and launching two labels: ‘Dacha’ and ‘Welcome to Unreality’. There you will find the perfect selection. His albums give us a hyperspace experience making us travel through surprising and electrifying sessions, eternally evolving.

This month Matt invites SY aka Si Heslin for the 1st hr guest mix. 
Hailing from Manchester, born in ’82 his taste and love for the scene came from a legendary time in house music for the North of England. Playing in Manchester’s bars and clubs since the late 90's he quickly gained recognition and had a former label residency in the city's legendary club Sankeys, at the same time playing some of the most renowned clubs and parties around the world, a few of his personal highlights over his 20+ years behind the booth include playing at Fabric, London, D-EDGE, São Paulo, Brazil, Space Ibiza where he held a summer residency for four years between 2012 & 2016, ADE, Amsterdam & Off Week in Barcelona.

Fast-forward to 2014, SY left the UK for Berlin and for over 9 years has brought his eclectic music style to the city's most popular dance floors. Gaining key label residencies at legendary clubs such as Tresor and the esteemed Watergate Club, where he held a long standing residency between 2016 & 2021, he has also graced the decks at some of the most highly respected clubs in the city including Club De Visionnaire, Hoppetosse, Sisyphos, Goldengate.

Throughout his career as a DJ and producer he has released a number of records on respected labels amassing an ever growing discography along the way.

Matt Harris & Friends w/ Means&3rd

Means&3rd aka Ben Marsden, a Manchester resident since 2007 his musical education has been nurtured by the city and the experiences that have come with it. First beginning with his musical education, shortly followed by many years of promoting events and culminated in securing a place behind the counter at one of the UK’s finest record stores, Eastern Bloc Records, where he currently curates the House and Techno sections. 

A local favourite and regular of Manchester's White Hotel, Warehouse Project, Soup Kitchen, and the close quarters of Eastern Bloc's very own club night his DJ'ing style has matured over the years to convey a more textured, headier but no less driving vision of techno that is always cohesive within its layers and never struggles to provide a boundless dynamic, especially when given the chance to play extended sets where he truly thrives, a keen intuition developed from over 2 decades of DJing. 

More recently he has zeroed in on his production skills with 2021 seeing the launch of his own imprint 'Unveiled Nuance' which will serve as a platform for his own productions and a true introduction to his sound as an artist. After years of meticulous analysis of his craft and the invaluable knowledge gained via the record shop, he has truly begun to sculpt his own sonic identity with a sharp attentiveness to detail.

A key member of the Locked In Asia crew, he’s championing the bass-driven sounds of 4x4 UKG, speed garage and bassline, bringing raw UK club energy to Southeast Asia.

Known for high-octane sets that fuse fast blends, warped basslines and relentless swing, Enable’s style is rooted in the gritty sound of the UK’s garage movement. His sets are a nod to the sound system culture that shaped his style, delivered with fresh flair and unrelenting energy.

He’s already shared stages with heavyweight names including Saint Ludo at BEAM Club, Silva Bumpa on his Outlook Launch Tour, and Mattik, Shosh, Oldboy, Wodda, and Killa P. His debut remix of Dizzee Rascal’s “Stand Up Tall” has been tearing up dancefloors across both Thailand and the UK.

Following his first official release on Step 2 Records, Enable has been teasing his unreleased original track, “See What Yeah”, featured in this mix alongside a UKG remix of “Victory Lap”. This mix takes you on a journey through the recent UKG sound—building steadily in intensity over the hour.
