"Dive into the emotional pool of ""The Waiting Room,"" where a4anxiety takes listeners into an hour of their intimate emotions through emo ambient, trance, and deconstructed breaks. This month, BOFIRAX (he/him, Barcelona) takes over the show and proposes a fluid, elegant, and minimalist electronic sound that immerses us through its synthesizers, voice, and guitar loops. Following his debut album, Ephemeral, Bofirax has released two EPs (DECADES, 2021, and INVISIBLE, 2024), as well as collaborations with other artists, while his next album is in the making. He has performed at festivals such as BAM, Primavera Sound, and the Pedralbes Festival, and also composed sound pieces for art installations (Sónar+D, CCCB, etc.), soundtracks for short films and commercials (Nike, Desigual, Saye), and theatre. This ambient mix represents Bofirax’s sound pallette, blending electronic and organic elements. Starting with a jam by myself and my synth using a generative algorithm, you’ll find a curated selection that ranges from synthesized sounds to water percussion or even recordings inside Taj Mahal.
